Developed using cutting-edge low-temperature water extraction (regulated below 40°C) and ultrafiltration technology, the procedure eliminates contaminants such as proteins and polysaccharide residues while maintaining EGT's natural bioactive structure. The product addresses the sensory constraints of generic antioxidant powders by appearing as a fine, white, odorless powder with good water solubility (≥98% solubility in room-temperature deionized water) and no unpleasant aftertaste. Usually utilized in concentrations of 0.001–0.1% in final goods, it has an HPLC-verified purity of ≥99% and is free of added sugars, artificial colors, preservatives, gluten, and soy. It avoids non-specific antioxidant effects that could upset cellular redox balance by exclusively targeting reactive oxygen species (ROS) in mitochondria, the cell's "energy center."​
Outstanding Stability & Processing Versatility: EGT's special molecular structure (a thiazolium ring with a mercapto group) is resistant to both pH-induced inactivation and thermal degradation. It maintains 95% activity after 30 minutes of 121°C retort sterilization, making it suitable for canned beverages, and it is stable over a pH range of 3.0–8.0, making it compatible with alkaline skincare creams and acidic drinks.
